Healthy Halloween Inspired Chocolate Chilli Fudge
Halloween is a usually a time where there’s a lot of chocolate & lollies lying around for trick or treat and from trick or treat (mums I hear you telling me how hard you find it to avoid all the goodies your kids collect!)
But if you’re worried about overindulging in less-healthy lollies and how it’ll affect your health but also don’t want to miss out on all the sweet fun,
This delicious but healthy & refined sugar free chilli chocolate fudge is your fast & easy solution to get your sugar fix & actually improve your health!
– Batch makes 16 pieces (if not using moulds like mine)
– Cals per pce: 147 (when 16 pcs)
– P: 3g | F: 12g | C: 4g
INGREDIENTS:
✅ 1 cup Cacao Powder
✅ 1 cup Almond Meal
✅ 1/2 cup Sugarfree Maple Syrup
✅ 1/2 cup Walnuts
✅ 1/3 cup Unrefined Coconut Oil
✅ 1/2 teaspoon Chilli Powder
METHOD:
1️⃣ Lightly break up walnuts either in a food processor or by placing in a bag & tapping with the bottom of a cup
2️⃣ Place all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and mix until fully combined into a doughy texture that will stick together. (I used my hands but you can use a wooden spoon or fork to help break down clumps)
3️⃣ Press evenly into a slice tray until about 1-2cm thickness (if not using moulds)
4️⃣ Cool in the fridge until hardened (about 30 mins)
5️⃣ Place on a cool surface & slice to enjoy!
6️⃣ Keep cooled when not eating as coconut oil has a low melting temperature
I sneakily added this recipe to the MJ Fit Life app too so it can easily be added into the Forever Fit meal plans!
I hope you find this recipe as delicious as I and the Fit Fam do!
