If you’ve started eating healthy or reducing jun If you’ve started eating healthy or reducing junk food & sugar & started walking more to try & lose weight 🙅‍♀️ here is what you need to know to avoid dissapointment from not seeing results:
1️⃣ 'Eating healthy' does not necessarily mean you’re eating enough. Make sure your calorie intake is also right to avoid metabolic slowdown.
2️⃣ Lots of foods marketed as 'healthy' actually aren’t. Like muesli bars, yoghurts, almost all breakfast cereals.
Be aware & avoid accidentally eating hidden sugars & processed carbs that’ll stall your fatloss.
3️⃣ Walking is not enough for substantial weightloss & will not tone you up. Our bodies walk every day. It’s not enough of a challenge to make your body burn more energy & fat enough to see real fatloss & it is not a muscle building (strengthening) exercise. 🙌
Strength exercises are needed to develop the shape in your muscle that you need so that you can look toned when the fat burns off.
I’m m not talking bout getting bulky - that won't happen, just getting the tight shape that you want.
